How BestCompare works

Ordering and filters

Directory results are ordered alphabetically by default. Visitors can change the order and narrow results with the filters available for that category. Payment does not affect default ordering. If paid placement is introduced later, it will be clearly labelled and kept separate from the default order.

Comparisons

Comparison pages place two published listings side by side using fields already present in BestCompare. A comparison is not a recommendation or a claim that one business is better. Missing values are shown as unavailable rather than inferred.

Listings, ratings, and freshness

Listing details can come from businesses, public sources, and BestCompare review processes. Coverage and freshness vary, and a listed rating or review count may originate from a third-party source. Visitors should confirm important details, availability, qualifications, and prices directly with the business.

Corrections and commercial relationships

Businesses can request corrections or manage their information. Commercial relationships do not change factual fields or the alphabetical default order. BestCompare does not treat payment as evidence of quality.
