Acceptance

These Terms apply to your access to and use of BestCompare at bestcompare.com.au (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About BestCompare

BestCompare is an Australian online directory and comparison service that helps people research local businesses and contact them. Content is for general guidance and should not replace your own judgement or professional advice where needed. See our Disclaimer for further limits on reliance.

Permitted use

You may use the Site to browse listings, compare services, and submit enquiries or other information we invite. You must not:

• use the Site in a way that breaches any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
• attempt unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the Site, including through harmful scraping, denial-of-service activity, or automated collection that impairs the service; or
• submit information that is false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or that impersonates another person or business.

Business listings

Business owners and representatives are responsible for keeping listing details accurate and up to date. BestCompare may edit, decline, suspend, or remove listings that appear misleading, incomplete, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate. A listing does not mean we sponsor, endorse, or have a commercial affiliation with the listed business, unless we say so expressly.

Reviews and user submissions

If you submit a review, comment, or other content, it must be honest, based on your own experience where relevant, and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or defamatory material. We may publish, reject, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion. Views expressed in user-submitted content are those of the author, not BestCompare.

Intellectual property

Content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, layout, and software—is owned by or licensed to BestCompare and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, republish, modify, or commercially exploit Site content without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

Trade marks and content belonging to listed businesses remain the property of their respective owners.

No professional advice

Guides, articles, comparison information, and related material on the Site are general information only. They are not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Obtain advice suited to your circumstances before acting on anything you read here.

Third-party links and tools

The Site may link to third-party websites, embed third-party media, or use tools such as analytics providers. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your dealings with them are on their terms, not ours.

Availability

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and BestCompare submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
